Upcoming release of SilverCart 1.2

Currently we are working hard on our SilverCart 1.2 release and plan to ship it within the next two weeks. That is, if things go as planned.

All features are done and we are focusing on testing and writing documentation. We have made some major changes to the underlying logic to be able to react even more flexible to custom project requirements.

SilverCart will be more easy to install and to set-up. The grown documentation will also help to make our eCommerce software a great experience for you.

Besides that, SilverCart 1.2 will have some pretty cool new features, so stay tuned.

We are happy and proud that some of our clients sponsored features to the public that were originally developed for their projects. This really proves that the idea of open software does work.

However, only a fraction of the things we would love to see in SilverCart made it into the release: we really could use some helping hands and donors / sponsors for features.

PS: Oh, and creating some buzz for SilverStripe and SilverCart would be great, too ;-)
