Hi All

First i am doing my first project with silvercart looks good so far.

i have managed to create a product group ok all good now i want to create some subgroups

example - widgits
- big widgets
- small widgets

should these show up as a submenu and if so where?

i have tried but no luck ... if this can't be done what are my options?

thanks for your feedback.

You can nest product groups as deeply as you want. Too much nesting however will decrease the user experience in some cases.

Here we have 3 tiers of product groups.

The demo markup might not show more than 2 levels though. Just check the templates and if a product group has children, loop over them to create the desired menue structure. Should not be too difficult, basic SilverStripe kung-fu :-)

Thanks for the quick reply, I have had a play tonite and I am sure I will get it working ( well I have sort of ) so a little more tinkering and it should do what I need it to.

I am really liking silvercart can't wait to see a SS3 version
