Fatal error: Class 'SilvercartRestfulServer' not found in /path/silvercart_payment_cod/_config.php on line 32
15 April 2013 at 8:21pmI get this error on first step after calling /install.php and filling in needed data for installation.
Hmm, I wonder what is wrong with this project? Don´t you test the code that you distribute?
Is this project alive?
Thanks,
Bughunter

15 April 2013 at 10:21pmHi,
thanks for your bug report. Sounds the the build process of the download package is broken. We'll look into that.
There is nothing wrong with this project, except that it needs some more helping hands. We test the code within our possibilities and the project is alive.
But we can't do everything that's on our roadmap without the help of the community...
Cheers
Ramon

16 April 2013 at 9:40amHi,
we fixed an error in the build process that creates the download packages. For some reason an older version was pulled out of the repo and included in the package.
Please download the package again.
Cheers
Ramon

16 April 2013 at 1:57pmHi, thanks for the info.
If you need community help, you should reconsider offering a bugtracker - developers, as you know always low on time, will not spend time on a forum. Forum = support for users. If you are looking for help, create the needed infrastructure and then help might be possible.
Also I recommend github as the defacto standard for open source projects nowadays - I totally do not want to fiddle with mercurial anymore, when git has everything. Also you will be more visible on github and will find developers quicker.
Also - to avoid the kind of problems you had with your packaged version - you can use www.codeship.io from github.
It can be a real boost for a project, to get the infrastruture done right.

community != developers.
We are aiming for feedback from actual users, and a forum is perfectly fine for them.
It's the grunt work that needs to be done. Evaluating code donations and making them conform to our coding standards takes longer than fixing/writing the code ourselves in the first place. Been there, done that.
If your business does rely on SilverCart (some really do!), you'll communicate with us on a personal level (phone, mail, skype) anyway and eventually may have access to our internal ticket system.
Oh, and if we'd care for de-facto standards, we'd go with Wordpress, Drupal oder Typo3 ;-)
Cheers
