Nope...those were some of the first things I checked to see. And No, I do not believe 'Member.Salutation' is in the database prior to installing your module.

Yep, just checked....no field by that name in any of my tables.

Nope....the entire installation is backed out and nothing gets installed or no database tables are created. it just stalls out, and if I go look at the DB, it still looks like a fresh SS install.

I have tried this on both of my Windows machines (Laptop and Desktop)...Windows 7.

I have not tried this on any of my Macs...

dealing with SilverCart isn't exactly what I would call work. Kids & wife are already sleeping and this is by far the best time to really get something done :-)

We are all on Macs/Linux here, so maybe you want to try it on one of these first.

I installed SilverStripe on MAMP again and then installed SilverCart and all depending modules the way it is described in the documentation. Everything worked find. Are you using MySQL as database?

it works for Mac and Linux, but I am not sure if we had the latest version running on Windows 7 somewhere...

Yeah, I tried it on my Mac and My ubuntu machines at home and got the same error. I have no idea why this is causing me so much problems.
