SS 2.4.5 clean installation, as soon as SilverCart and all the required modules are installed and database is rebuilt, I get a server error: "Sorry, there was a problem with handling your request." and I am locked out of admin. Tried a dozen times with fresh installations and it does the same every time. Any ideas? Thanks..

Try to follow these instructions very specific!

see where they tell you to install EVERYTHING at the same time. I finally got a clean install...first just install SS all by itself. then install everything how they tell you to in the Workflow on the link above.

It is important that SS is installed and running prior to installing SC. Because SC is decorating SS classes a "one-stop-install-dev-build" won't work.

If the webserver encounters a problem and is so kind as to tell you about it, you definitely want to have a look at the logfiles (e.g. error.log, php.log, depending on your operating system and setup).

You can post the last relevant entries of them, this will help us to locate the issue.

Thanks for the responses guys. I had SS set up and working smoothly, then added S>Cart as per instructions - one exception - I have a custom version of BrightSide1 theme installed. I tried setting up with the theme disabled but got the same result. Hosting setup as on pastie: http://pastie.org/1914079

I have tried deleting the database and reinstalling several times and get the same results. Thanks for the help.

I couldn't ever get this to work on my local machine using xampp on a Windows 7 OS. I don't know what it is about the

Unknown column 'Member.Salutation'

because it seems to be a very common issue for some of us.
