Installed on windows server and got the same problem. tried even an clean install with ss 242 gave an error... 243 was ok but same problem... now tested on 245 same problem. ive been struggling fot total 20 hours now and still not get it to work when logged in. somehow when the user is logged in it seems the customhtmlform breaks the cart. at the link webshop/productgroups/testgroup1/customHtmlFormSubmit. ive tried now custom htmlform 1.1 and has the same problem.

Hi Hanntje72,

as we are concentrating on the release of SilverCart 1.2 where many things have changed and improved, I would suggest that we provide you with a preliminary release tomorrow.

Would that be an option?

I really appreciate your effort and I am sorry that it does not work out. Is it possible to grant us access to your development box?

We won't let you down ;-)

Cheers
Ramon

maybe the new development works... hopefully. I hate magento or wordpress. because of the ease of ss

i have an backup of the translated files. Maybe when im finished i can get you the Dutch translation. Its not really completed yet. Would be good i think when offering the new payment type ive read this year coming. It has ideal so more Dutch will come... thats why i turned from burnbright to silvercart.

By the way... found something else... i can select an manufacturer of an product... 1 is installed but i cant find where to ad more. I can do it in the db manual so the table exists.

Second... what is attribute for... i suppose a variation, but when added one nothing shows up on the site. It would be nice to have per product maybe 2 variations. so lets see clothing... size and color to choose.

Further for the future it would be nice to have an discount when ordering more products... so 1 till 10 pieces would be normal price... 11 till 50 -2%... 51-100 -4%.

this would be more professional and has a large count of possibilities

Hi Haantje72,

we are preparing a preliminary release of SilverCart 1.2 for you. Since there are quite some changes we have to carefully concentrate our resources on new code.

I hope to be able to send it to you by tomorrow.

You can add a new manufacturer via "SilverCart administration" -> "Search for: Manufacturer" and then "Create Manufacturer"

The product attributes are obsolete as of SilverCart 1.2.

We are planning to offer products variants with SilverCart 2.0, which will be based on SilverStripe 3. Variations are quite a bit tricky, since most implementations you see in online stores are not suitable for all kinds of ERP software. Usually you want to keep track of stock for variations as well. This means, that each variation is a SKU and has it's own EAN and the like. A simple dropdown menu for "Color" or "Size" has to reflect this or else you will end in a stock keeping nightmare.

I already wrote about this topic in this post http://www.silvercart.org/forum/general-discussion/show/207#post207

How would you use variations, what are your needs? Which products will you sell and how do you manage your business? Which ERP software do you use?

SilverCart will offer discounts with the graduated prices module. http://www.silvercart.org/blog/new-feature-upcoming-graduated-prices/. The module is finished and will be published after it is battle tested in an actual webshop from one of our customers.

Cheers
Ramon

would be great if you have the pre-release. I'd like to test. For variations its pitty thats its only on 2.0.
Dropdown would be enough for me as long as it is shown in the cart and order by the specific product.

What i want...
I have an simple thing... 1 article, 1 productnumber, more sizes and more colors and the choice to impress/print it or not. In first instance i dont use stock control. Maybe in the future. The suppose is to sell business clothing and normal clothing wich people can order with logo/image (and upload it) or without logo (blank). In the future there maybe will be for non-business users shirts with selectable (funny)texts, images, colors, etc.

My ERP software is exact but i use it mostly manually and non automated. But... an export to exel/csv is no problem to import in exact for order, customers etc.
