Modules seem to be missing in Installation files

Hey Guys,

I'm really excited to see a dedicated eCommerce solution being created for Silverstripe! Having a few issues with the existing Silverstripe ecommerce & payment modules I had seen some positive feedback on SilverCart and thought i'd give it a shot to compare the two.

Seems like i've run into an issue early on though...

I have downloaded and extracted the installation files and cannot find the silvercart modules in there.
All that seems to be in the files are the external dependency module's "DataObjectManager" and "Uploadify".

I had tried this with "The Easy Way", as well as both the "minimal" and "full" in the "Barebone packages containing only Silvercart modules" from the Download page.

Can you please advise?

Thank you,

Hi there,

sorry for that one, you are so right.

We are packaging the download ZIP on a scheduled task to include the latest changes and something, somewhere, went terribly wrong.

We'll fix that ASAP and provide the complete package for download.

[ edit 3:15pm: The download package is fixed now ;-) ]

Alternatively, you can also download the latest trunk here:
http://code.silvercart.org/

Cheers
Ramon

Thanks for that Ramon.

I have now downloaded the updates - However it still appears that now only one of your download options actually contains any of the silvercart modules. I will go ahead and start trying out Silvercart with that but to avoid confusion to other new users it might pay to ammend the others... please see below.
Also, I have gone and downloaded the latest Silvercart PayPal module from the trunk as suggested - just wanting to confirm that this is stable?

Many Thanks,

Summary of Download options as follows:

"The easy way

If you just want to try the current SilverCart release without any hassle just download the complete package here.

Download the complete package - Still no SilverCart Modules

Feel more adventurous?

For the more advanced users we provide packages in different flavours. There are two versions, one including the latest stable Silverstripe release and all adjustments and one including only the SilverCart modules.
Packages including Silverstripe

Download the minimal package - Only Package that does currently contain SilverCart Modules

Download the full package - Still no SilverCart Modules

Barebone packages containing only SilverCart modules

Download the minimal package - Still no SilverCart Modules

Download the full package - Still no SilverCart Modules

Good morning :)

I have just downloaded and checked all packages from our download page and everything seems to be ok. Perhaps you had some older ZIP files in your download directory?

The paypal module from the trunk directory can be considered stable. I'm currently deploying it in an upcoming client project and it works very well.

Greetings,
Sascha

Thanks @Sascha :)

Disclaimer: The required fields for the PayPal-API change from country to country. We have not feedback from NZ yet, so maybe some country specific issues might arise.

We use the PayPal module for several productive projects already, works a treat.

Cheers
Ramon

Thank you for following up Sascha and Ramon,

Looking forward to implementing SilverCart and the PayPal Module into a current NZ project shortly - will let you know how it goes.

Best regards,
